Security Engineering Services

Security tools only help when they work the way they should.

We build, tune, and connect the security tools you already own, working directly on your platforms. Each service is contracted on its own, by project with scope and deliverables in writing or against a bank of engineering hours, and everything we do is documented and handed over.

Cloud Security and Forensics

For teams running on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud without a clear view of their posture. We review account configuration, design identity, access, and segmentation, set up logging and detection on native telemetry, and harden against CIS and provider frameworks. You get a prioritized remediation plan and support while you work through it. We need read only access to the accounts in scope.

When something has already happened, we rebuild the story with evidence that holds up to review. That covers evidence preservation and chain of custody, endpoint, server, and memory analysis, log and cloud activity analysis, and a timeline with the scope of impact. You receive a technical report and an executive summary. Forensics is engaged case by case and does not need continuous coverage.

Tuning and Automation

If your SIEM, XDR, or SOAR is deployed but produces more noise than signal, we fix that. We review rules and cut false positives, adjust thresholds, exclusions, and severities, close coverage gaps against MITRE ATT&CK, and bring ingestion, retention, and cost under control. You get a before and after report with metrics. This needs administrative access to the platforms.

To take repetitive work off your analysts and speed up response, we build playbooks for the most frequent cases, enrich alerts automatically, and automate triage, containment, and ticketing on your SOAR or native tools. Each flow is documented and tested, and the flows are defined in the scope before we start.

Parsing and Integrations

Some data sources are not understood by your platform out of the box. We write parsers for proprietary or uncommon logs, map them to standard schemas such as ASIM, OCSF, and ECS, and build connectors over API, syslog, and agents. We also connect your SIEM, XDR, SOAR, and ticketing tools and monitor data quality and ingestion. We need log samples and access to the source APIs.

The sources that come up most often are firewalls, VPN, and network equipment, identity and email such as Entra ID, Okta, and Microsoft 365, public clouds, business applications and SaaS, and ticketing and messaging tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Teams. Scope is defined for each integrated source.
